Maserati is doing well and volume is increasing just as the brand intended and planned. Increased orders mean Maserati will increase production by 20% to meet the demand. Maserati achieved record volume in May of this year with 3,068 vehicles delivered which is a record for the brand.

FIAT, the parent company, is shifting focus a bit upscale which benefits Maserati and the brand as a whole. Maserati is also benefiting from shared technology with Ferrari such as the new twin turbo V8 motor.

Maserati's momentum should continue especially as buyers look for alternatives to the German luxury makers that these days seem to oversaturate the market with models thereby compromising exclusivity.
