    • Jeep Trackhawk vs. Lamborghini Urus standing kilometer drag race

Here we have a 1000 meter drag race in the wet. The damp surface does not affect either performance SUV too much as they are both all wheel drive. Each has a V8 motor and a ton of torque off the line.

The Jeep Trackhawk of course generates its power courtesy of a supercharged 6.2 liter Hellcat V8. Twin turbo V8 power based on the Porsche EA825 4.0 liter V8 is in the Urus.

You will notice the Urus gets a slight jump but the Trackhawk makes up the gap and opens up a minor lead for a second or two. Then, the top end of the Urus takes ovre as it leaves the Trackhawk in the dust. It pulls away easily.

It takes 21.7 seconds for the Trackhawk to cover the kilometer compared to 21.1 seconds for the Urus. The Trackhawk is slower but a huge value in comparison and very, very tuneable.
