    • S63TU vs. Hellcat V8 - Tuned F10 M5, F13 M6, F90 M5 vs. various Hellcats

Some great tuned German and American boosted V8 action here. Obviously the Hellcat V8 is a larger motor at 6.2 liters than the 4.4 liter BMW S63TU design and utilizes a twin screw supercharger rather than a pair of turbochargers.

Both are a great way to go fast and respond well to mods which is a good thing considering the heavy chassis' they power.

There are several runs below starting with an ethanol tuned F10 M5 taking on a race gas tuned Hellcat with a pulley from a roll. It is close with the M5 edging before shutting down.

Next up is an F13 M6 tuned on E85 with catless downpipes versus a Challenger Hellcat running bolt ons and race fuel. From a dig it is close with the Challenger getting an edge only for the M6 to close the gap and pull slightly and then the Challenger to pull slightly up top.

These same cars go from a 40 roll and the Hellcat definitively pulls. The rematch goes the same way.

A bolt on F90 M5 on race gas goes up against a race gas tuned bolt on Hellcat from a stop. This is where the M5's all wheel drive pays major dividends. The F90 M5 wins rather effortlessly.

Great to see these two V8's go at it.

They both trapped 152-156 in the half , that’s slow AF. F90 is bad ass , over all hellcats much faster platform then bmw

Is it? Pretty decent for heavy luxury barges. There are also much faster examples.
